An art consultant was asked by the Mayo Clinic to provide 165 pieces for it's new clinic in Cannon Falls. One of them was for an unusual space requiring a long and narrow piece. The stable end grain joints are one of the features of my work. In this case, the strips were alternated as they ran through the piece creating an unusual effect.
